Ordering is pretty simple, yet depends on your device type as to the exact process you need to follow. This instruction is for our desktop customers.
For desktop customers start by entering your address or postcode in the search box at the top of the home page. You'll then see a list of available cooks to choose from.
Click on a cooks menu, which can be done by clicking the name or the picture the cook has decided upon.
Add an item from the menu to your cart by clicking the item and completing the optional and sometimes required fields in the pop up window. You will see your total bill on the right hand side which is your cart. This includes the cost of the food, Rider fee and Tax which is VAT at 20%.
All cooks have a minimum order amount before standard checkout is possible which is generally £10.00 unless stated on the menu. If your items are under the minimum order value, you can still checkout by using our shortfall feature.
If you have not met the minimum order value you will see a red button that says 'Pay £xx and checkout now', this means your order is short of the required minimum value but if you pay the figure stated then we will allow checkout.
Once you meet the minimum order value the red button changes to 'Checkout' and you will be able to follow the checkout process.
If you have an account with Hungrily you will be required to login as soon as you press the checkout button. Simply enter your login details to advance. If you do not have an account with Hungrily then press the white tab that says 'Create Account'
Once you are logged in, you will need to verify your information such as your address, as several addresses can be stored within your account. Choose the address you would like delivery to and press the red 'Continue' button.
Next you will have the opportunity to enter any coupon, gift certificate or promo codes if you are lucky enough to have one that is.
Default payment method is by card, we do not accept cash, Paypal or bank transfers for security reasons. If you have used a card in the past you will see it securely stored and ready for you to select again. Alternatively, click 'Use a different card' if you would like to pay with a different card.
Once you have decided upon payment, you can enter any special instructions in the box labelled 'Enter any special instructions'. These instructions should be specific to your delivery, such as, The red door at the end of the road.
Finally is the Rider Tip area, this is where you are able to reward your Rider for being an amazing person and delivering your meal. Riders keep 100% of tips and you can choose any amount of tip you like. For your convenience we have defaulted the setting to 'I will tip with cash', your Rider doesn't see this and instead just sees a £0 tip on the order. You are able to select a series of percentages or you can enter your own tip value by clicking the 'Other' button and then the 'Apply' button to add the tip amount to the order.
If your order is for the future you will see red text with a checkbox. You must check this box in order to continue. Once checked, the text turns green and the button with your total amount becomes red and active. Now you simply need to press the 'Place Order: £X' button and your card will be processed and your order placed.
